ADULT DANCE  (18+)

Acting for Stage

Basic Movement

 

An introductory coarse for our youngest students. We will be teaching basic movement concepts and will learn how to orient themselves on stage.

Butterfly Ballerinas (4-6)

This class is the student’s first introduction to formal ballet class structure. Stretching and strengthening exercises, barre work is introduced, and use of vocabulary and French terminology is added. Musicality is emphasized as is balance and coordination through the strengthening of the body core.

JAZZING/ HIP HOP  (9-12)​

This class works with pre-teens who may want to learn some new dance moves, but also improve their strength and agility of movement. Jazz dance combines techniques of  ballet and modern dance with the current forms of popular dance.   Hip Hop is about personal style and expression. This high energy class.

 

 

BEGINNER TAP KIDS (6-12)

Student in this class learn the foundational movements of tap and choreography of dance movement.  The rhythm and movement of tap transforms the dancer into a percussive musician. Tap dance emphasizes the flow of movement by teaching the dancer to find rhythms and beats not only in music but in their own bodies.

 

 

ACTING 101  (8-12)

This class is a safe, fun, foundational class allowing students to  set their imaginations in motion while learning techniques to help overcome stage fright and self-consciousness. Theatre  games, beginning improvisation, and movement are emphasized.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Hip Hop and Jazz combo

This is a high energy class that teaches both hip hop and jazz technique.  The hip hop portion infuses the latest styles of street dancing, breaking, popping and locking, along with jazz techniques.  Classes encourage students to step outside of the box by bringing their own individual style and personality to the movements.  Hip h

INTRO TO HIP HOP & JAZZ COMBO

This mixture of hip- hop, jazz and music video style dancing is fun for everyone. 

Class begins with a traditional jazz warm- up followed by center technique and across the floor fun.  Each class will teach a new section of hip hop routine.  

 

INTRO TO TAP I

This is a very introductory tap class.  This class is taught in the traditional Broadway style, emphasizing the develoment of individual technique. The curriculum is a comprehensive program beginning with simple rhytms which will prepare you for future classes with more advaced complicated footwork.    

 

ADULT FITNESS (18+)

 

SHAKE IT OFF FITNESS

YOU want CARDIO ???? This class is for you.....

A one hour class packed with non stop movement. This class incorporates traditional work out exersises combined with FUN dance moves while listening to the latest radio hits.  

 

 

BARRE FITNES & STRETCH 

 

This class is designed to give you a long, lean dancer-like physique.
